RICHARD NUDELBACHER

Richard E. Nudelbacher, age 77 of Waupaca, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 9, 2010, in his home. He was born August 17, 1933 to the late Edward Nudelbacher and Phyllis (Jones) Nudelbacher Oudenhoven. Richard was a 1951 graduate of Menasha High School. He was a self-taught building contractor who loved to build and fix anything. He was a very simple man with a heart of gold; making sure everyone else was well taken care of. Richards dreams came true when he retired on Waupacas Chain-o-Lakes, in the home he built, where he enjoyed relaxing on his pontoon boat, taking his dog, Blackie, for long walks and spending quality time with his nieces, nephews, and family. He also enjoyed trout fishing trips in Colorado. Richard is survived by his sister: Joan Lea; brother: Tom (fiance Kathleen) Nudelbacher; niece: Holly (Daniel) Nudelbacher-Schilz; nephew: Bryan Nudelbacher; and special friend: Wanda (Gary) Spencer. He was preceded in death by brother: Robert Nudelbacher; two special nephews: Gregory Nudelbacher (God Son) and Bradley Nudelbacher; his step-father James Oudenhoven; and brother-in-law John Lea. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Spirit Parish, Darboy, Father Dave Beaudry officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or the American Stroke Association in Richards name.
