ELOISE JONES

Eloise Margaret Sheppard Witt Jones, age 94 of Neenah, passed peacefully at Vallhaven Care Center on Monday, September 27, 2010. She was born July 4, 1916; she came into this world with a BANG of fireworks which glowed through her highly spirited and playful personality. Ellie lived most of her life in Neenah, Wisconsin. She worked as a saleswoman at Marshall Fields in Chicago, Jandreys in Neenah, and as a lab tech at Theda Clark Hospital. She brought a smile to everyones face she came into contact with. Ellie had an eagerness to know what was going on in the world; politics and the Packers were a part of her daily study. She knew politics inside and out and the Packer games were a must; she knew all the players. Ant Ellie is survived and deeply missed by her sister-in-law: Adeline Sheppard; her niece and nephews: Carol (Coy) Brown; Charles (Sue) Sheppard; and Robert (Colleen) Sheppard; her great-nieces and nephews: Carri (Richard) Chatfield; Chris (Andrea) Brown; Charles (Lil) Sheppard, Jr.; Kamie (Jason) Hedrington; Kathy Callaway; Scott (Andrea) Sheppard; Max Sheppard; and Abby Sheppard; as well as many great-great-nieces and nephews; her best friend, Mary Gilmore; and many other friends. Ellie is preceded in death by her parents: George and Laverne Sheppard; husbands: Clarence Witt and Evan Jones; and her brother James Bud Sheppard. The funeral service for Ellie will be held TODAY, Wednesday, September 29, 2010 5:00 P.M. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Menasha, Rev. Ralph Osborne officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30 P.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Ellies name.
