NORMA KUENZL

Norma E. Kuenzl, of Oshkosh, age 82, died peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah. She was born September 27, 1930 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Frank and Frances Volkman. Norma graduated from Oshkosh High School and went to work for Oshkosh Foundry, Block Iron and finally for the Lee Beverage Company where she worked until her retirement at age 72. Norma married Nile Gluth in 1948 and they shared 30 years together, including the birth of a daughter, Pamela, in 1961. The two later parted ways, and Norma went on to marry John E. Kuenzl in 1979. They spent time traveling, vacationing in Maine, Florida and frequently at their home in Eagle River. After Johns death in 2004, Norma moved to Neenah to reconnect with her daughter, Pam Swanson; her grandchildren: Becky Swanson, Brian Swanson and his friend, Haley Blohm, Jodi (Steffan) Peterson, and Kristen (Nathan) Amerson; as well as 4 great-grandchildren: Cooper, Derek, Avery and Joshua. Norma was preceded in death by a sister, Delores and a brother, Richard. In accordance with Normas wishes, a private family service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff at Vallhaven " especially Heather, Tracy and Peaches, for making Normas last days comfortable and providing the family support beyond all expectations. In addition, we would like to thank the staff at Theda Clark Medical Center and Theda Care at Home Hospice for their care and support. Then Jesus said, Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
