ARLINE BROWN

Arline L. Brown, Neenah, age 87, died peacefully in her home in the care of her loving family on Sunday, February 21, 2010. She was born December 24, 1922 in Neenah, daughter of the late William and Rachel (Vought) Stillman. Arline was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was a devout Christian woman who embraced the values of her church. These beliefs were an inspiration to her as she raised her children. Arline married Edwin Brown and they lived on the family farm where they raised their four children. During these years she enjoyed the friendship of close farm neighbors. It was also a time for fellowship with the members of Trinity Lutheran Church of Neenah and their Ladies Aide. Arline enjoyed her many years of volunteer service with Bethesda. Travel with family and friends gave her many happy memories. Arlines loving smile, gentle ways and devotion to her family will be deeply missed. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister she will be sadly missed by four children: Joyce (Robert) Wilde, Jerry Brown, Judith (Michael) Hubbard, Jean Brown; four grandchildren: Jason (Heather) Wilde, Kala (Jesse) Winter, Rachel and Jacob Waite; two great-grandchildren: Maxwell and Maddie; and a brother, Lloyd Stillman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; a brother, Robert; and a sister, June. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, with the Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 pm until the hour of service. Interment will be at Lake Side Cemetery in Fremont. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
