JANE JUNGENBERG

Jane A. Jungenberg, Neenah, age 78, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 21, 2010, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 2, 1931 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Herman and Ruth (Krueger) Keil. Jane married Archie Jungenberg on October 15, 1950 at Trinity Luther Church in Kaukauna. Jane graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1949. She enjoyed singing, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening and travelling. She also was a proud grandmother enjoying the concerts and plays that her grandchildren were in. Jane was a member of Martin Luther Church where she was active in their church choir and many others. Survivors include her husband, Archie; four daughters: Lynn (Robert) Ekdahl, Neenah, LeAnn (Robert) Jungenberg-Klumb, Adams, WI, Mary (David) Haertl, Neenah, Vicki (David) Mayefski, Appleton; a son, Dr. James (Catherine) Jungenberg, Oshkosh; twelve grandchildren: Kristin (Chris) Hughes, Gregory (Tanya) Jungenberg, Kathryn (Taylor) Schmidt, Elizabeth (Russ) Wruck, Michael Haertl, Bob Ekdahl Jr., Stephanie (Jason) Lewis, Rachel Mayefski, Benjamin Haertl, Joseph Mayefski, Theodore Ekdahl, Sarah Haertl; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters: June Kobs , Marlene (Wayne) Iverson; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Keil. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Virginia Erdman, Karol Chapman; and two brothers: Paul Keil and Donald Keil. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Martin Luther Church, with the Rev. Jason Oakland officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 70 7:00 PM at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home and at the church Monday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to Martin Luther Church are appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Radhika Raj, Darla Hoelzel and the 5th floor nursing staff of Theda Clark Medical Center for all their wonderful care.
