MARGUERITE SEILER

Marguerite E. Dottie Seiler, age 86, passed away on Thursday morning, July 25, 2013 at Valley VNA with her loving family at her side. She was born on January 6, 1927 in Neenah, daughter of the late Thomas and Veronica (Fellows) Mickelson. On December 3, 1949 she married Robert Big Doc Seiler, who preceded her in death on July 7, 2013. Before starting a family, Dottie was employed by Kimberly Clark, and later in life was employed by the Red Owl. She and her husband were members of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Neenah. She loved watching sports, especially the Brewers and the Packers, cooking, and trips to the casino with her beloved husband. Dotties greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by two sons: Mark Seiler (Pam), Waukau, and John Seiler, Oshkosh; a daughter, Holly (Tim) Hoks, Neenah; her grandchildren: Travis (Courtney), Kristin (boyfriend, Remy), and Sarah (Cory); great grandchildren: Evan, Braylon, Halea, Cayson; and a brother, Theron Mickelson, Two Rivers. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, June Gaston; and was reunited with her beloved husband, Robert. The joint Memorial service for Marguerite and Robert will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church (809 S. Commercial Street) with Rev. Catherine A.K. Mode officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
