MARIAN LARSON

Marian Doris Larson, age 87, of Oshkosh, former Neenah resident, died Monday, April 13, 2015. She was born December 17, 1927, in Neenah, daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Petersen) Hoyman. Marian married James E. Larson on September 16, 1946 in Neenah. They shared 56 years together before he passed away on June 23, 2003. Upon retiring in November of 1988, they built a new home of the shore of the Embarrass River in the Town of Pella near Shawano. They returned to Neenah in July of 2002 and Marian later moved to Oshkosh in 2005. She is survived by her three children: Barbara (Donald) La Fontaine, Oshkosh, Thomas (Susan) Larson, Littleton, CO, Nancy (Richard) Monicke, Tigerton; four grandchildren: Brian (Cathi) La Fontaine, Menomonie, WI, Rebecca (Blake) La Fontaine-Engberg, Phoenix, AZ, Eric (Erica) Larson, Danbury, CT, Colin (Elizabeth) Larson, Boulder, CO; two step-grandchildren: Neil (Kori) Monicke, Wausau, WI, Dusty (Sheila) Monicke, Weston, WI; and five great-grandchildren: Patrick and Joseph La Fontaine, Menomonie, WI, Riley and Benjamin Larson, Danbury, CT; Avery Larson, Boulder, CO; four step-great-grandchildren: Draven, Ryker, Mason and Liam Monicke; and special friends: Tom and Sue Short, East Troy, WI, Jim and Dorothy Francart, Neenah. A private family service will be held and interment in St. Margaret's Cemetery in Neenah.
