RODNEY KLUTZ
July 27, 1946 - December 20, 2008
Obituary
Rodney N. Rod Klutz, Neenah, age 62, very unexpectedly went home to his Savior Saturday, December 20, 2008. He was born to Clifford and Ursula (Kaminski) Klutz on July 27, 1946. In October 1968, he married the love of his life, Mary E. McCabe. He attended UW Madison, Fox Valley Technical College, and Lakeland College. He was employed by Kimberly-Clark for 40 years, retiring in June 2007. Rod was a sponsor to many children through Compassion International over 32 years. He served 20 years in Co. C.2-127 INF. (M) WI Army National Guard, honorably retiring as a Sergeant First Class. Rod was passionate about his faith, family, friends, gourmet cooking, and fishing. The laughter and happiness he brought will be dearly missed. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and in 2004 began his life-transforming relationship with his Lord and Savior. Awaiting a reunion with Rod in Heaven are: his loving wife of 40 years, Mary; his daughter, Tiffany Klutz, Laguna Hills, California; his son, Jason (Gloria) Klutz, Menasha; and his sister, Kathrine (Gerald) Stilp, Elm Grove, Wisconsin. He is further survived by Marys seven siblings, their spouses and many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clifford and Ursula Klutz, and his in-laws, James and Lillian McCabe. A Celebration of Rods Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Faith United Methodist Church, 1025 Tullar Road, Neenah, with Rev. Mary Council-Austin officiating. The visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. He will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Rods name is being established by his family. Rods family would like to express their deepest thanks to the emergency room staff of Theda Clark Medical Center on Saturday morning, our deepest appreciation to the nurses Hannah Gauthier and Denise Perkins and most of all to Dr. Christopher Hugo. You went to soon, My Love. I cling to the promise that I will see you again one day in Paradise. Til then you will always be in my heart. Love forever and a day, Mary...

To Rod's family, We are so sorry to hear of his passing and can only imagine how difficult this day will be for your family. It is good in knowing that he is in heaven, but still hard having him gone. He was a wonderful man and made an impact on many lives while he was here. We will pray for your family during these coming days for strength to get thru them. With many prayers, The Keith and Sheila Kronbeck family
