THOMAS SHELTON

Thomas Clark Shelton, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2008. He was born on September 30, 1948, in Ottawa, Illinois, the son of the late David "Bob" and Maybelle (Huston) Shelton. Thomas graduated from Ottawa Township High School in 1966 and on March 21, 1970, in Mendota, Illinois, he married his loving wife, Carol Clinite. He was a loving, devoted father, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Thomas worked for Ottawa Dental Laboratory for twelve years and also for Van Harpen Dental Studio in Menasha for thirty years. Thomas enjoyed camping and fishing and he was also a part of the Agape prayer group for 20 years. Thomas is lovingly survived by his wife, Carol Shelton, of Hortonville; son, Matthew Shelton of Neenah; sister, Louise (George) Latham of Peru, IL; brother, James (Vickie) Shelton of Oakdale, TN; and sister-in-law, Betty Shelton of Seneca, IL. Thomas is preceded in death by his brother, David Shelton. The funeral service for Thomas will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009, 11:00 AM, at Faith Community United Methodist Church, N1966 Julius Drive, Greenville, with the Rev. Tom Lambrecht officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
