NORA WIELAND

Nora A. Wieland, Oshkosh, age 92, passed away after a short illness on Friday, August 28, 2009, at Park View Health Center. She was born September 1, 1916, in the Town of Winchester, daughter of the late Carl and Mae Bell (Looker) Biettler. Nora married Erwin Wieland on June 27, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1995. Nora was an avid cook and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and putting puzzles together. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Neenah for over 65 years. Survivors include two children: Donna Wieland, Oshkosh, Roger (Veronica) Wieland, Winneconne; two grandsons: Brian (Julie) Wieland, Neenah, Robert (Roxanne) Wieland, Winneconne; two great-grandchildren: Cheyenne and Dustyn; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Allen, Erving and Carlton; and two sisters: Verna Hochholser and Irene Pagel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at MENASHAs Westgor Funeral Home, 1140 Appleton Road, with the Rev. Paul Holte officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the hour of service. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Prairie Side 1 at Park View Health Center for all their wonderful care of Nora.
