JEAN LEBELLE

Jean Ann LeBelle, 92, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Valley VNA, Neenah. She was born January 29, 1929 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late John and Grace (Christianson) Hrubesky. She graduated from St Mary's Central High School Menasha in 1947. Jean was a member of St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Church, Neenah and prayed the rosary daily.  Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, or Packers, she watched them all as she was an avid sports fan.  Jean was a kind and fun-loving mom.  What was most important to her was time spent with family and the laughter shared.  She will be dearly missed.

 Jean is survived by her four children: Donna (Peter) Schafer, John (Linda) Nollenberg, Nanci (Lee) Stafford, and Mary (Rory) Pues; grandchildren: Joe Graves, Nina (Billy) Rock, Sara (Dan) Prell, Katie Leon, and Chad Pues; three great-grandchildren: Carter Evans, Layla Evans and Ariyah Leon; and a sister in-law Marge Hrubesky. When she married Donald LeBelle on September 22, 1979, her family grew as she welcomed his children into her life.  She is further survived by Karen LeBelle, Randy (Cindy) LeBelle, Jody Gayvert, Rory LeBelle, and Lisa Smith as well as many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.  She was further preceded in death by her husband Donald LeBelle; son Donald J. Nollenberg; sister Joyce Reichel; brothers Peter and Richard Hrubesky; stepsons Richard LeBelle and Robin LeBelle; stepson in-law, Dennis Smith; and two step grandsons.    

In keeping with Jean's wishes, a private service will be held.

Jean's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at both Valley VNA and ThedaCare at Home Hospice, for their care and compassion. A memorial fund has been established.
