BONNIE RAYMER

Raymer, Bonnie V. At age 91, Bonnie went peacefully to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 25, 2009. She was born in Oshkosh on April 21, 1918, to Richard and Lily Hitchcock. In 1935 she was married to Eugene M. Raymer and had a daughter, Bonnie Jean, and a son, Eugene C. Raymer. She was a beautician for over thirty years at the Elmwood Beauty Salon in Oshkosh. Bonnie was a simple person, not requiring much and always appreciative of everything. She loved the outdoors, picnicking in the park, long rides in the country and being with her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who greatly loved her family and was loved so very much in return. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Jean B.J. Davis, her grandsons: Scott (Kathy) Buettner, Bradd Buettner and friend Suzie Rydz, Ross Buettner and his fiance Crystal Lewis; great grandchildren: Scott R. Buettner, Jefferey Coon, Brittany Buettner, and Bethany Lewis; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Hitchcock. Bonnie is also survived by step-grandchildren, Pamela Rothwell, Chuck Thompson, Pasquale Davis, Douglas Davis, Suzanne Young and their families. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Eugene M. Raymer, infant son, Eugene C. Raymer, parents, Richard and Lily Hitchcock, brother, Warren (Vi) Hitchcock, Richard (Ruth) Hitchcock, Robert (Bud) Hitchcock, Lynn Hitchcock, Claude Hitchcock, and sisters Luetta (Harold) Anderson, Doris (Louis) Stege, and Dixie McGrath. The funeral service for Bonnie will be Saturday, October 3, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Neenah, with Rev. Tony Fuller officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. A memorial has been established at the church.
