JOHN STREY

John D. Strey, Neenah, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on October 27, 1951; son of the late Clarence and Erna (Bondow) Strey. John was a Neenah resident for most of his life. He was formerly employed with Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay. Survivors include a brother, Dennis (Judith) Strey, Townsend; and many cousins, including Tom Borchert and Emily Rau who were especially close and helpful during his life. The Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday, August 28, 2009, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:30 PM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Clayton Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Judy Thoma and Deb Luther who provided John with special care and comfort during his life.
