EMILIE LEVENHAGEN

Emilie "Mil" Fiebig Levenhagen passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Neenah, Wisconsin. Mil was devoted to her family and found great joy in her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother to her seven grandchildren. Her deep and active faith in Jesus Christ was evident to anyone who came to know her, and served as a source of comfort and support to her family. Mil was blessed with a beautiful voice, and loved singing. Her time at Moody Bible Institute was dear to her, and she treasured her friends made there and elsewhere for the rest of her life. Mil was born July 2, 1920 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Katherine Romig Fiebig and Henry Fiebig. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Hank, Augie, Pete, Marie, and Elsie, and her beloved husband of 46 years, Harold Levenhagen, who she now joins in heaven. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Bruce Levenhagen (Carol) and Torrey Levenhagen (Wendy), both of Neenah; grandchildren, Bruce, Jr., Kyle, Steven, and Emilie Levenhagen, Matthew and Alexandra Levenhagen, and Amy Stephens (Ben); and her brother-in-law, Earl Meyer. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at COMMUNITY CHURCH 2351 RYF RD., OSHKOSH, with Pastor Rick Ribble and Shawn Hennessy officiating. Family and friends may visit at the Church on Monday 4:00-6:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Moody Bible Institute, 820 N. LaSalle Blvd., Chicago, IL 60610.
