JOANNA GILLUND

Joanna M. Gillund, age 55 of Appleton, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012. She was born September 4, 1957 to Palmer and Patricia (Kelley) Langteau in Milwaukee, and was raised in Bayview, graduating from Bayview High School. Joanna will be remembered as a loving wife, and adored mother by her husband, Dennis; sons, Jonathan Lee (Michele) Drenski and Luke Dennis Gillund; and daughter, Stephanie Drenski. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Langteau; her Godmother Berdeva Fischer; and her siblings: Madelyn Ratz; Laura (Jerry) Snyder; David (Terry) Langteau; Linda (Carlos) Mont; James (Sarah) Langteau; Lily (Mike) Pearson; and Paula (Leo) Langteau-Hodlofski. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Palmer; and brother, Joseph Langteau. A memorial service for Joanna will be held at 11am Saturday, September 15 at St. Thomas Church, 226 Washington St., Menasha. Fr. Ralph Osborne will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
