JACQUELINE LENTH

Jacqueline S. Jackie Lenth (Tlachac), of Kaukauna, age 47, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends following a 26 month courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer, on Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was born March 19, 1965 in Kewaunee, daughter of Chief and Rosie (Zima) Tlachac. Jackie graduated in 1983 from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. She then received a degree as a Radiologic Technologist from Theda Clark Medical Center in 1995. Jackie was employed with Theda Clark until 2000 when she went to work for the Neuro Spine Center of Wisconsin in Appleton from June 2000 until present. Jackie married the love of her life, Timothy Lenth on July 29, 2000. She lived every minute of her life, especially enjoying the holidays with family and friends. Halloween was her favorite, going all out with parties everyone looked forward to, complete with awesome costumes. We know this Halloween Jackies costume will have wings as she looks upon us from the ultimate party in heaven. Survivors include her husband, Tim; two step-sons: Adam (Amanda) Lenth and their children: Ava, Ayden and Addison; Andrew (Rachel) Lenth and their son, Payton; her parents, Chief and Rosie Tlachac; a sister, Cindy (Danny) Meneaus; a brother, Scott (Sandi) Tlachac; six nieces and nephews: Kristi Meneaus, Mitch Meneaus, Matt Tlachac, Sam Tlachac, Elizabeth Tlachac and Brian Tlachac; a sister-in-law, Jenny Tlachac; and numerous other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Appleton Alliance Church, 2693 W. Grand Chute Blvd, Appleton, with the Rev. Dennis Episcopo officiating. The visitation will be held at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Jackies name for scholarships to the Theda Clark School of Radiologic Technology. Jackie Jax will always be remembered for her upbeat, positive attitude, winning smile, and her outlook on life: Never take life for granted , Love the ones youre with , Enjoy each day, for you never know when it will be your last.... , When God gives you a mountain to climb, get your boots on and get going!!! Meow (love my stepsons!) You give what you get and you get what you give (my awesome husband!) Paradise, where it's always happy hour! (and now you are in Paradise). The family and friends would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology for their passionate care; Dr. Anthony Phillips, for his compassion, knowledge base and openness to new treatment ideas and opinions; the office staff for their smiles and compassion; the medical side for their true BELIEVE attitude and never ending support. From the first day of treatment, (at what Jackie referred to as the Chemo Bar ) to the last treatment day (with another new chemo), the never give up attitude that embodies Jackies Positive outlook. To the ICU staff and all the Diagnostic Technologists in the ThedaCare system, they all showed true caring in each and every way. Roger Gerndt, for passing along a very important new procedure that gave Jackie many wonderful extra months of life; Dr. Robert Martin from the University of Louisville, for his expert treatment and care using this new procedure; as well as the caregivers in Louisville. Jackies extensive support system of close friends in the Caring Bridge and Facebook family. She would read each post, cleanse and be uplifted and reenergized by all the love and support. They say its not how much you loved, but how much youre loved by those you left behind. We will always love you, Jackie. You touched so many lives in such a wonderfully positive way in the time you spent with us. Thank you for making us better people for having known you. Jackie, Jax, Gramma Jackie Jackson, my beautiful wife. You will be missed by all who knew you or knew of you. Any place you have ever been, you have left it a better place with your always present beautiful smile, and winning can-do attitude. You are the love of my life and true soul mate.
