RUTH MANN

Ruth T. Mann, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center with her beloved family at her side. She was born on February 3, 1930, in Neenah, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Nussbaumer) Marksman. On November 13, 1948 she married Joseph F. Mann at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. Their marriage was blessed with seven children and 50 years before Joe preceded her in death on August 16, 1999. Ruth worked in the kitchen at Van Abels Supper Club for over 30 years, where she met and befriended many, many people over the years. She was a hard-working woman who provided for and looked out for her family. She enjoyed going to the casino, cooking, baking, traveling, and dining out. Her family will miss her keen sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by her children: David Mann, Menasha; Dennis Mann, Allenville; Tim (Deb) Mann, Larsen; Mary Lou (Michael) Juzenas, Appleton; and her twin sons: Joseph (Sharon) Mann, Black Creek, Paul (Beth) Mann, Appleton; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her brothers: Paul (Doris) Marksman, Menasha, and Earl Marksman, Neenah. In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Joe, she was preceded in death by her son, Kim. The Funeral Service for Ruth will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church, Menasha, with Rev. Samuel Degner officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
