ELVIRA PAVLAK

Ellie Pavlak, 94, of Neenah, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Alten Haus. Ellie was born on July 25, 1918, in Dale, the daughter of the late William and Magdalena (Krenke) Schroeder. She was married Stanley Pavlak who preceded her in death in 1959. Ellie was employed as a cook with several Neenah/Menasha restaurants over the years. She was a member of Martin Luther Church, Neenah. Ellie enjoyed flowers and gardening, feeding the ducks and birds, doing craftwork, and cooking for everyone under the sun-especially cookies, soups, and canned goods. Survivors include her children: Gordon Pavlak, Poysippi; Vern Pavlak, Neenah; Beatrice (Lloyd) Zirbel, Larsen; Charles (Linda) Pavlak, Oshkosh; Ronald (Jeanne) Pavlak, Larsen; Barbara (Mike) Griesbach, Hortonville; Shirley Van Horn, Green Bay; and Bob (Lana) Pavlak, Neenah. There are 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Dolores Scott, New London and Phyllis Gorges, Weyauwega; two sisters-in-law: Margie Schroeder, Oshkosh and Elnora Schroeder, Weyauwega. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Eric, Elmer, Orvin, and Eugene Schroeder. The funeral service for Ellie will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Martin Luther Church, Neenah, with Revs. Jason Oakland and Richard Krahn II officiating. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
