FLORENCE SCHOENER

On October 2, 2012, Flossie Hersh Schoener passed away at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh, WI. Flossie was born on February 26, 1924 in Topeka, KS to the late Maud and John Hersh. In 1950, she married Jim Schoener of Marinette, WI. He preceded her in death. Flossie was very proud of the time she spent in the U.S. Navy after WWII. Flossie lived in many places in the U.S. during her 88 years, but her heart was always in Topeka. Flossie is survived by her daughter: Laurie (Bob) Crowley; her grandson, Jacob M. Behrens; her brother, George (Marge) Hersh and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, James Allen Schoener II, and two sisters, Helen and Lucille. A private service will be held at a later date and per her wishes, burial will be in Topeka, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park View Health Center in Flossies name. Thank you to the very special staff at Park View; you all will not be forgotten.
