JAMES FRENCH

James H. French, "Frenchie", of Appleton, age 68, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. He was born March 28, 1944 in Beloit, WI, son of the late Hugh and Norma (Cribelar) French. Jimmy had a gift for making lamps and was known to make them out of anything. He had a nice business of selling them and fixing lamps for others. Survivors include six sisters: Betty Lou (Arnold) Skottet, Green Lake, Myrna Snell, Shiocton, Deanna Quade, Rhinelander, Donna French, Ogema, WI, Lora (Danny) French Neldon, Tahlequah, OK, Lois French, St. Paul, MN; a brother, Raymond French, Nevada; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene French; and brothers-in-law: Kenneth Jacobson, Bob Snell, and Eugene Quade . A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
