GEORGE NAEF

George N. Naef, age 96, formerly of Neenah, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. He was born in Wausau on September 26, 1918 to the late Jacob and Minnie (Kittle) Naef. George was an Army veteran who served his country proudly in World War II. During his longtime residency in Neenah, he worked as a carpenter, and for the past several years, he has been living at The Renaissance in Wausau to be closer to family. George is survived by his brothers: Reuben (Lois) Naef; Conrad (Norma Jean) Naef; Norman (Audrey) Naef; and a sister, Edna Holcomb. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette, 1 brother and 6 sisters. The funeral service for George will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday January 3, 2015 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
