ROSE FORD

Rose E. "Betty" Ford, of Neenah, age 89, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born March 23, 1925 in Knob Noster, MO, daughter of the late Banner Webster and Ella (Carney) Lane. Betty married Harry Ford on September 27, 1947 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2002. She worked in Neenah at Corr Opticians for many years. Betty's hobbies included cooking, cheering for the Packers, arts and crafts, shopping, and her wonderful collection of Roosters and Chickens. Betty also loved spending time up in Door County. She enjoyed all of her grandchildren and great Grandchildren and looked forward to their visits. Survivors include her three children: Carol Ford, Stephen (Mary) Ford, Douglas Ford; six grandchildren: Patrick Anklam, Kimberly (David) Johnson, Brandy (Chris) Jacobson, Angela (Eric) Verhagen, Steve (Amber) Ford and Chelsee Ford; eight great-grandchildren: Chase, Shawn, Emily, Hailey, Anna, Ava, Teelin and Brody, and great-great-grandson, Brayden. Many special friends including Chris and Mary Pufahl, Jeff and Ann Olejnik, and Joel and Allan. Special thanks to Evergreen Assisted living Ken Arneson and his staff. As well as the Aurora health care and Hospice staff. Betty will be cremated and her family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being set up for Muscular Dystrophy.
