WAYNE BRAUN

Wayne R. Braun, of Neenah, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday. January 8, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1929 in Milwaukee, son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Trader) Braun. Wayne graduated from Neenah High School. He then served for several years in the National Guard. Wayne was an Electrician and he owned and operated Master Electric with his dad and brother. Wayne loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He really enjoyed going to his property in Wautoma, deer hunting and woodworking. Wayne was loved and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his four children: Michael (Jayne) Braun, David Braun and his significant other, Cindy Laux, Dianne Seidl, Robert Braun; six grandchildren: Christopher Braun, Jeremy (Carrie) Braun, Nicholas Braun, Tonya Braun, Dalton Braun, Janet Seidl; his longtime companion, Judith Hartzheim; three sisters: Nancy Thurow, Faye Peterson, Anita Tittel; and the mother of his children, Elaine Braun. Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 12, 2015, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. The family would like to thank the staff of Theda Care Hospice and Appleton Medical Center for all their wonderful care of our father.
