He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, fishing, time spent at the cabin near Boulder Lake; and rooting for the Vikings, though his family knows he was a closet Packer fan. Dick was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, whose sense of humor will be tenderly remembered by his family. Dick is survived by his beloved wife, Dona; his sons: Dennis Richard Frakes, Neenah, David Edward (Stacy) Frakes, Neenah; grandchildren: Jacob (Becky) Frakes, Neenah; Jordan (Mark) Vanderloop, Kaukauna; great granddaughter, Morgan Raeann Frakes; a sister, Joyce (Roger) Cummings, Crandon; half-sisters, Pat (Larry) Schisel, Chilton, Kathy (Gene) Laux, Neenah; half-brothers, Mike (Marla) McGlin, Shiocton, Dennis (Susan) McGlin, Clintonville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Friends will be received at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. He will be laid to rest in Neenah's Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Dick's name. Grandpa- We will miss you like crazy. I bet you can't wait to get your bowling ball all shined up again and your fishing rods ready to go. And we hope you get that thirty pointer! We are so happy you were here to meet your great granddaughter, Morgan. You will be missed by so many. And don't worry; we will take good care of grandma. Love you lots.
