BONNIE FISCHER

Bonnie Marie Fischer, nee Stern, of Neenah, age 73, was called to her eternal life on January 25, 2015, suddenly while wintering in Arizona with her husband. She was born June 28, 1941 in Antigo, WI, daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Muench) Stern. On January 20, 1968, she married Rodney Fischer and they recently celebrated 47 years together. During the late 1960's Bonnie started working for Gilbert Paper Co. in Menasha, where she learned great business skills, retiring after more than 25 years of employment. In 1979 she opened her own business called Idea Shoppe Fashions, in Neenah. A unique, one-of-a-kind woman's specialty boutique catering to women of all ages and sizes. Bonnie had great pride and passion in serving her customers with clothing that would flatter and never go out of style. Her daughter, Debbie, loved working by her side. Bonnie was a patient boss and an amazing mother! Survivors include her husband, Rodney; five children: Debbie (Todd) Moeller, David Peterson and his partner, Susan Juel, Bret (Lisa) Fischer, Julie Olson and her partner, Dale Kleiboeker, Dana (Pat) Fischer; her grandchildren: Erin and Eric Fischer, Joshua Olson, and Adina (Richard) Gubbels; a great-grandson, Jericho Olson; and a brother-in-law, George (Bobbie) Bartsch. Bonnie was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Stern; her mother and father-in-law, Agnes and John Fischer; a sister-in-law, Dorothy (Elmer) Lunde; and a brother-in-law, John (Ginny) Fischer. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Broad St., Menasha, with The Rev. Steven Billings officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the hour of service. A luncheon will follow the service. Entombment will be at Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum. The family would like to say a special thank you to Jim, Rhonda and Alec Bricco for helping Dad. Thank you to all our friends for showing the love of Jesus to us at this difficult time.
