JAMES MARTIN

James C. Martin, age 61 of Larsen, passed away unexpectedly at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, May 28, 2015. He was born to the late Charles and Marcella (Rohe) Martin in Neenah on August 26, 1953. Jim was a Menasha High School graduate and was an enthusiastic sportsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and camping. He loved camp fires and always looked forward to family fishing trips to Canada. He was a very active man, always getting in a two-mile walk a day and was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports, having kept schedules to Badger, Packer and Brewer games in his wallet. Jim will be sadly missed by his sister, Marilynn (Danford) Sindahl; his nieces and nephews: Scott (Cindy) Sindahl; Brian (Diane) Sindahl; and Stephanie Gumma; his grand-nieces and nephews: Christopher (Kim) Sindahl and their son, Hunter; Michael Sindahl; Kimberly Gumma; Cassandra Gumma; Nicholas Gumma, and his daughter, Paisley. He is further survived by his brother-in-law, Mark Gavinski and his five children. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Ann Gavinski. A visitation for Jim will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., at which time a funeral service will be held with Mary Krueger officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
