RUBEN KUHLOW

Ruben A. Kuhlow, age 87, of Neenah passed away on Friday morning, June 5, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born on July 15, 1927 in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, son of the late Albert and Ella (Rautmann) Kuhlow. Ruben proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII and with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On February 19, 1955 he married Averil L. Ribble at Calvary Bible Church in Neenah. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, four sons, and 60 wonderful years together. Ruben retired from Kimberly Clark as a Pipefitter in 1987 after more than 40 years of service. He was a long-time faithful servant and a very active member at Calvary Bible Church for many years. He enjoyed serving the Lord by serving others. Ruben was a man of great faith. His selfless, joyful, hard-working spirit will be truly missed, but never forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Averil; his children: Julie (Michael) Herchmer, Appleton; Robert (Doreen) Kuhlow, Neenah; Steven (Amy) Kuhlow, Menasha; Alex (Christine) Kuhlow, Neenah; Gregg (Stacey) Kuhlow, Menasha; Lori (Daniel) Ney, Oshkosh; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters and 2 brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. The Funeral Service for Ruben will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Bible Church (1450 Oakridge Road, Neenah) with Rev. Danny Leavins officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruben's name may be given to Crescent Lake Bible Camp or to Fox Valley Christian Academy.
