KENT PARKER

Kent "Sam" D. Parker, age 77 of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, June 5, 2015 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. He was born on July 6, 1937 to Verne and Maeford (Jenkins) Parker and on July 3, 1980, he married Linda Courthurst. Sam was a former employee of the City of Neenah, having worked in many different departments. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and camping, and could always be found singing and dancing. He leaves behind his wife of almost 35 years, Linda; his children: Kevin, Lori, Chris, Bill, John, Rick, Kent, and Dennis, as well as his step-son, Troy, and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. A memorial gathering for Sam will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Short Branch, 1102 Harrison St., Neenah.
