CLIFTON LEATHERS

Clifton E. Leathers, of Neenah, passed away to eternal peace on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Denise Leathers; their son, Joshua Leathers, both of Neenah; his mother, Ann Snyder, Winneconne; two sisters: Debra (Jay) Miller, Oshkosh, Charty (Kevin) Cantrell, Ponca City, OK; his brother, Lenny (Rebecca) Leathers, Georgetown, KY; a step-sister, Robin Jorde, Neenah; along with numerous loving extended family members and friends. Cliff was preceded in death by his father, Ken E. Leathers; and step-fathers: Gordon T. Hildebrand and Elroy R. Snyder. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name. Cliff, the son, the husband, the father, the sibling and friend was loved dearly and he loved dearly back. This was a man with great courage and determination for life. He loved and lived his life by this quote from John Wayne: "courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway."
