ISABELLE BRAMER

Isabelle F. Bramer, age 98, of Neenah passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Bridgewood Nursing and Rehab. She was born on February 17, 1917, daughter of the late Reinhold and Lydia (Hoffman) Zabel. On July 4, 1952 she married Edward A. Bramer in Higginsville, MO and they lovingly brought their families together. Edward preceded Isabelle in death on May 10, 1992, just shy of 40 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah. Isabelle enjoyed growing African Violets and reading. She was a very independent woman, living on her own right up to the end. Her hard-working, generous soul, along with her great sense of humor, will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Ervin (Judy) Henke, Crossville, TN; daughter, Judy (David) Maciejewski, Menasha; daughter-in-law, Marcella Bramer, Menasha; 4 grandchildren: Jeff (Meg) Henke, Scott (Carolyn) Maciejewski, Tim Maciejewski, Christine Bramer; 13 great grandchildren; a special niece, Kristine (Marty). In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert Bramer; two grandsons: Michael Bramer and Donald Uphold; and a sister, Gladys Voelks. A Cryptside service for Isabelle will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Star of Hope Mausoleum inside Highland Memorial Park with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. The family would like to thank Sue and Jeff, Rachel, Monty, and all of Isabelle's mailmen for helping her out in her apartment, and for all the great food. Your kindness and compassion are greatly appreciated.
