MAE HUBERTY

Mae H. Huberty, age 94, of Neenah passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, September 2, 2015 at Elder Lodge. She was born on April 23, 1921 in Neenah, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Retzlaff) Dorow. She was baptized, confirmed, and was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. Mae was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Neenah. She will be remembered through her beautiful embroidery of pictures and dish towels. Her grandchildren have fond memories of visiting grandma, going to the park, feeding the ducks, and eating her cookies. She will be greatly missed by her daughters: Glendone (LeRoy) Zeinert, Larsen, Judith Schwandt, Neenah; a step-son, David Huberty, Neenah; grandchildren: Tracy Jacobson, Darcy (David) Reetz, Carolyn (Russ) Haedt, Leslie Schwandt, Michelle (Brian) Kositzke, Steve (Joan) Schwandt; great grandchildren: Andrew Jacobson; Collin, Evan, Lawson, Joelle, Delaney, Clara, and Jesse Reetz; brother, Lyle (Joann) Dorow; sister, Janis Breaker; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Fred Boegh and Leo Huberty; an infant twin sister, Marion Helen Dorow; brother, Leslie Dorow; sister, Elda Skalmoski; infant granddaughter, Gerry Zeinert. The Christian Memorial Service for Mae will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Tony L. McKenzie officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. She will be laid to rest beside her first husband Fred in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mae's name. The family would like to thank the staffs of Elder Lodge and Hospice Advantage for all of your care and compassion.
