NANCY RADUE

Nancy Ellen Radue, of Neenah, age 73, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born September 7, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri. Daughter of the late Arthur James and Gladys Kathryn (Barnes) Duemler. In her youth she was very active and enjoyed activities like climbing trees and building forts. In high school years she was active in sports like swimming. Nancy was always active and enjoyed the outdoors throughout her life. Some of her favorite activities included camping with her family, cross country skiing, and gardening. The code she lived by was "Keep it Simple". She worked as a Registered Nurse in her early years, married William Robert Radue in April 1963, became a homemaker, then returned to nursing later in life working in home health care and at Theta Clark Medical Center. Nancy had a kind heart and caring ways and always reached out to many she met. She enjoyed writing poems, short stories, painting, and other crafts. She also enjoyed going to Alanon & AA meetings to share her life's struggles and journey and help other through theirs. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, and grandchildren including the family dogs and other pets. She also enjoyed talking with her sister, Kathryn, who lives in Sweden, and corresponding with many cousins and friends and those relationships will always be treasured. Survivors include her three children: Kathryn (John) Tuttle, Dan (Stacey) Radue, Martin (Kristine) Radue; six grandchildren: Annika Tuttle, Evan Tuttle, William Tuttle, Amber (Travis) Maciejewski, Emily Radue and Samuel Radue; and a sister, Kathryn "Jane" Danielsson. A memorial service for Nancy will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. The visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name for the Fox Valley Humane Society. A very special thank you from the family to the first responders and staff and doctors at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their compassionate care over the hours of care for Nancy.
