DANIEL ZEHNER

Daniel G. Zehner, of Neenah, age 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Cherry Meadows. He was born November 25, 1943 in Neenah, son of the late George and Delaphine (Kriese) Zehner. Dan graduated from Neenah High School. He attended UW-Stevens Point and then served his country in the US Air Force, being stationed in Myrtle Beach, SC. Dan then graduated from UW-Oshkosh, with a degree in Business Administration. He married Connie Sue Steinhorst on April 19, 1968. Dan was employed with Bahcall Rubber in Kaukauna, retiring in 2012. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting sporting clays. Survivors include his wife, Connie; two sons: Matt Zehner, Chris Zehner; two grandsons: Nicholas and Gavin; a brother, Charlie (Mary) Zehner; a sister, Kris Zehner; and two nephews: Dan and Andy. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, on Saturday, October 17, 2105, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the hour of service. Military Rites will follow the service with the Neenah Menasha Veterans Honor Guard and the US Airforce. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Dan's name.
