Obituary
Jean R. Kuchenbecker, nee Graebel, age 92, of Neenah died peacefully with her husband and family at her side on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at American Grand Assisted Living in Neenah.
Jean was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to the late Arthur and Clara Graebel on December 14, 1926. After several years the family moved to New London, Wisconsin where she attended and graduated from Washington High School in 1944. Jean worked several jobs in New London before meeting and marrying Morris Kuchenbecker from Neenah. They were married on August 21, 1948 in New London and then moved to Neenah to live all their married life.
Jean and Morris have been married for 70 years and were blessed with five children: Steven (Donna), Dennis, Rodney (Nancy) Julie (Tim) Sweet, and Timothy.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Morris; three sons: Dennis, Rodney, and Timothy; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; son Steven and daughter Julie; all her in-laws; all her siblings; and her sister Margaret, two brothers: Lawrence and Lester.
A Memorial Service for Jean will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Jean will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
