Obituary
Elaine C. Thomas, age 86, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah. She was born July 1, 1935, in Waukechon, Shawano County, daughter of the late Henry and Esther (Bendickson) Pluedeman.
Elaine married Richard Thomas on April 26, 1958. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2013. She dedicated her life to being a wife and mother. Elaine enjoyed her family get togethers, reading knitting and crocheting, and polka music. She was a longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Neenah.
Survivors include her three daughters: Ann (Bryan) Danke, Carol Thomas, Lynn (Jon) Tyczkowski; six grandchildren: Rebecca Danke, Eric Kempen, Alicia Kempen, Timothy Kempen, Nick Tyczkowski, Kaylin Tyczkowski; two great-grandchildren: Serena Kempen Lee, Nadalyn Steenis; a sister, Janet Peotter; a brother, Leon Pluedeman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her son, Peter; and a sister, Mary Kupsky.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Rev. Jon Strasman officiating and FACEMASKS are required. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
The family would like to thank the 5th floor nurses at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah and the nurses from ThedaCare at Hospice, for all their wonderful care of Elaine.
