SALLY PAYNE

Sally Ann Lange Payne went to rest in the arms of her Savior on Saturday, November 14, 2015 after courageously battling complications from liver cancer for six long weeks. She was born on September 23, 1940 in Neenah, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Alfred Lange and Josephine (Oberst) Lange. She graduated from Neenah High School, and later from Ripon College with a Business Degree. In addition to spending time with her family and going to lunch with her friends, her favorite activities were reading, crocheting, solving Sudoku puzzles, traveling, and preparing taxes. She was an enrolled agent with her own tax service and enjoyed helping her many clients. She is survived by her children: Janice (Bruce) Newell, Sun Prairie, and Steven Payne, Neenah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Lange, and two infant brothers. A memorial service for Sally will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Rob Carlson officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sally's name may be given to: St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT 59004-1001.
