Obituary
Angela Rose Van Haaster, age 75, of Menasha went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 26, 2015. She was born on March 12, 1940 in Appleton, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Leonard and Rose (Fisher) Tock. On March 7, 1960 she married Joseph A. Van Haaster in Waukegan, Illinois. The marriage was blessed with a son, two daughters, and 55 wonderful years. Angela loved traveling and watching squirrels and birds, especially cardinals. She was a dedicated volunteer at Theda Clark Medical Center, and a long-time faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church in Neenah.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Joe; her son, Brian (Sp. Friend Lisa) Van Haaster, Appleton; daughters: Christine (Tony) Toon, Menasha, Laura Salazar, Neenah; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four sisters: Mary Peterson, Kathy (Greg) Tuchscherer, Lynn (Al) Labanow, Carol O'Brien. In addition to her parents, Leonard and Rose, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Ed Hamilton, and her brother, Vince.
A Memorial Service for Angela will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church (1025 Tullar Road, Neenah) With Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Inurnment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Theda Clark 5th floor south for your compassion and assistance to the family during our time of need.
