Obituary
Jim Crain, age 75, of Neenah, went home to heaven to be with the love of his life, Margo, and his son, Marcus, on Monday, January 4, 2016. He was born June 28, 1940 in Waupun, WI, son of the late Ralph and Esther Crain.
Jim graduate from Goodrich High School. He married Margo Magana on October 29, 1960 at Sacred Heart Church in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on September 5, 2003.
Jim was employed at WFON, JJ Keller and then he and Margo were partners as Realtors with Century 21, where he was salesperson of the year, with outstanding sales volume.
Jim loved music and was an accomplished trumpet player performing in the 1960's with the Ron Harvey Orchestra and then the Dynamic Entertainers in the 1970's. He made everyone smile with his quick wit and endless jokes.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine (Shaye) Sturgis, a son, Thomas Crain and Deirdre Letourneau; three grandchildren: Gabrielle Crain, Hannah Crawford and Zachary Crawford; seven great-grandchildren: Marcus, Ayden, Makenzie, Kiama, Liam, Ryan and Zoe; a sister, Mary Schroeder; three sisters-in-law: Natalie, Theresa and Elaine Magana; two brothers-in-law: Joe and Ralph Magana; and many nieces and nephews whom he cherished deeply.
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Marcus Crain; his sisters: Virginia and Patricia Crain; four brothers: Ralph, Robert (June), Richard, Donald (Micky); a nephew, Donny Crain;
A Celebration of Jim's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. The visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
