EUNICE CLAUSING

Eunice E. (Warnke) Clausing, age 80 of Neenah, passed away early Tuesday, August 23, 2016. She was born June 10, 1936 in Oshkosh to the late Albert and Brunhilda (Linstedt) Warnke. On February 16, 1963 she married James Clausing at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She was a 1954 graduate from Oshkosh High School.  Eunice was a dedicated homemaker but she also worked as a Bank teller for the New American Bank Oshkosh, part time for Neenah Schools in the cafeteria at Tullar Elementary, and seasonally for Miles Kimball.

Eunice was a devout Christian who remained steadfast in her faith despite her courageous health battles throughout the years. She was a 30 plus year cancer survivor who cherished time with her family and especially her neighborhood friends.  She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, sewing baby blankets for family and friends and watching the birds.  She also enjoyed all kinds of board games, especially Scrabble with her daughter, Betty. She was a member at Grace Lutheran Church in Neenah.

Eunice is survived by her husband, James; her children: Betty Ann Clausing, and Robert James (Kathleen) Clausing; her grandchildren: Zachary (Rachel) Clausing; Jennifer (Marty) Milner; and Jake Clausing; as well as by her nephews: Curt (Lisa) Dobberke, and Neal (Mary) Dobberke; and nieces: Pat (Morey) Worthington, and Joyce Simonsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Laverne and her husband Merton Dobberke, her mother and father-in-law Orant and Adeline (Witt) Clausing, her brother-in-law Harland Clausing and Sister-in-law Juanita and her husband Tony Simonsen, and a daughter-in-law Kathryn (Krueger) Clausing.

A memorial service for Eunice will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1390 Breezewood Ln, Neenah with Rev. Richard Frost officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday at church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Eunice's name.
