NORMAN KOELLER

Norman R. Koeller, age 86, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 16, 2016. He was born on March 2, 1930 to the late Clara and Louis Koeller and lived in Neenah. He married Edith Little on October 24, 1953, in Gresham, and they were married for 53 years before Edith passed away. Norman loved to talk with family and friends and was a wonderful story teller. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing trips to Canada with his wife, and spending time at the cottage on Beauleau Lake. The brightest spot in his day was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Norman is survived by his children: Carol (Charles) Schmidt, Deborah (Mike Laakso) Jaskolski, and Jody (Stephen) Gerdin; grandchildren: Kristin (Andy) Sewall, Joel Morgan, Nicole (Tobias) Lubbersteadt, Amy (Travis Piette) Jaskolski, Abby (Eric) Schultz, Hudson Gerdin, and Harrison Gerdin; great-grandchildren: Brendan, Dylan, Makenna, Tyson, Payton, Gavin, Zoey, Austin, Noah, Wyatt, and Lucy; and siblings: Donna Koeller, Larry Koeller, and Michael Cane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Koeller.

Private family funeral services will be held, and Norman will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Gresham.
