Obituary
Roy R. “Tiny” Zemlock, age 65, of Neenah took his last breath on Earth and his first breath in Heaven on Friday, August 19, 2016 at The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. He was born on March 26, 1951 in New London, Wisconsin, son of the late Francis and Amy (Schneider) Zemlock. After high school graduation, Tiny proudly served his country with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. On June 15, 1974 he married Darcy J. Christensen at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Neenah. Tiny was employed by Wisconsin Tissue Mills. He loved watching T.V., playing cribbage, and cheering on the Badgers and the Packers. Tiny had a great love for dogs, especially his own.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Darcy; his daughter, Amanda (David) Wilke, Menomonee Falls; granddaughters: Madeline and Elise Goehler; Lila and Sophia Wilke; sisters: Marcy (David) Bruenning; Judy (Jim) Hidde; Nancy (Stan) Prue; Liz “Tootie” (Dan) Milheiser; brothers: Jim (Nancy); Warren (Lois); Jack (Vicky); Ed (Ev); sister-in-law, Laurie Zemlock; brother-in-law, David (Rosie) Christensen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather; a sister, Elizabeth; and brothers: Francis and Andrew.
The Funeral Service for Tiny will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church (200 N. Commercial St., Neenah) with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Full military honors will be performed outside of the church immediately following the service. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
