Obituary
Helga W. Dandrea, of Neenah, age 84, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, March 17, 2016, following a brief illness. She was born in Germany on November 18, 1931.
Helga met Michael Dandrea in 1953 while he was stationed in Germany serving in the US Army. They were married on July 7, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her most important and precious moments were shared with her family. Helga was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, and Cubs. She also liked to press her luck at the casino.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Michael; her children: Monica Dandrea, Mark (Kim) Dandrea, Steven Dandrea, Linda Dandrea, Karen (Mike) Brandenburg; her grandchildren: Ryan (Jenny) Brandenburg, Kurtis Dandrea, Nicole Owen; and her great-grandson, Beckett.
The Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. The visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Helga's name.
