STEVEN YOUNG

Steven M. Young, “Pops”, of Menasha, age 64, died unexpectedly from a massive heart attack on Thursday, April 7, 2016.  He was born August 22, 1951 in Oakland, CA, son of Richard and Margaret (Selig) Young.

Steve married Bonnie Joas on August 26, 1985. He retired from Banta Book Group after 44 years of employment.  Steve loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed spending time at his property in Aniwa.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; two sons: Cody Young, Shawn Young; his mother, Margaret Lausman; four siblings: Angie Buchko, Randy (Sharon) Young, Kim (Randy) Diedrich, Tina Lausman and Paul Kampo; two sisters-in-law: Donna (Bill) Krieg, Barb (Ken) Taplin; a brother-in-law, Frank Kappell. Many nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by a half-brother, Gary Lausman; a sister-in-law, Delores Kappell; three brothers-in-law: Richard Joas, Doug Joas, Lionel Joas; and his father and mother-in-law: Edward and Elsie Joas.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home.  The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the hour of service.
