CORY EAKE

Cory J. Eake, age 30, of Neenah passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, April 12, 2016 at Froedtert Medical Center in Wauwautosa, WI.  He was born on March 13, 1986 in El Paso, TX, son of Douglas James and Guadalupe Perez Eake.  After high school graduation, Cory proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy.  After his time in the Navy, Cory went on to earn two degrees from Fox Valley Technical College, the first in Criminal Justice and the second in Network Security.  He was employed by TEKSystems and Bemis Corp. as an Information Technologist.  Cory was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Neenah.  Known as “El Fuego” by his friends, Cory enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing video games, watching movies, hunting with his dad, building computers, building rifles, and chasing the latest electronic gadgets, watching/listening to Disney movies and soundtracks.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Doug and Guadalupe, Neenah; his sisters: Yadira (Bill) Rein and children, Appleton; Andrea (Adam) Rappel, Wausau; grandparents: Eugene and Joan Eake, Neenah; Ana Maria Perez Cordova, Chihuahua, Mexico; many relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gilberto Perez Cordova.

Funeral Mass for Cory will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church (900 Geiger St., Neenah) with Father Larry Seidl officiating.  Friends will be received on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, and again on Tuesday directly at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service.  Military Honors will be performed immediately after the Mass.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established at www.youcaring.com/CoryEakeMemorial.
