Obituary
Francis W. Goetz, age 70, of Neenah passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, April 21, 2016 at ThedaCare Regional Hospital-Neenah. Fran was born on August 2, 1945 in Neenah, Wisconsin son of the late George and Florence (Zemke) Goetz. On July 17, 1965 he married Gail Peterson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah. Their marriage was blessed with 2 children and they celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2015. Fran was employed by Menasha Corp. until his retirement eight years ago. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Gail; his children: Stephen (Samantha) Goetz, Nashotah, WI; Jennifer (David) Boltz, Huntley, IL; grandchildren: Taryn Boltz and Peyton Goetz; a sister, Bernice (Ken) Kirby; mother-in-law, Ruth Peterson; sisters-in-law: Judy Goetz and Janice Herman; aunt-in-law, Mavis Charron; niece and nephew, Marla and Paul. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Goetz Jr.
A private family memorial service was held. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran's name may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah.
