Obituary
Jerome C. Achterberg, of Neenah, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2015 at the Heritage Hospice Residence. He was born on May 2, 1930, son of the late Herman and Lenora (Boyce) Achterberg.
Jerome graduated from Neenah High School in 1948. He served in the US Army during WWII and was stationed in Germany. Jerome worked for Kramer's Florist and then Linsdau Florist in Menasha for many years. He had a long time association with the Aylward family in Neenah.
Survivors include two sisters: Dorothy Cloutier, Neenah, Jean Mueller, DeLand, FL; two nieces: Toni Fow, DeLeon Springs, FL, Laura (Nathan) Guffey, Greencastle, IN; and a nephew, Steven (P.A.) Mueller, Spring, TX.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
