ANDREW ZEMLOCK

On April 30, 2016, Andrew J. Zemlock passed away unexpectedly. He was born to Francis and Amy Zemlock on July 2, 1945. He graduated from Neenah High School in 1965 and on July 31, 1965 married the love of his life, Lauren “Laurie” Waters. Together they had three wonderful children: Julie Glodny; Mark (Betsy) Zemlock; and Tracie (Bob) Francart. Andy was proud to be Papa to Kendall, Eli, Bobby, Karissa, Branden, Amanda, Zachary, Alesha, and Sirena, and was blessed with four great-grandchildren: Bentley, Eva, Chase, and Philomena. He loved his family and friends dearly and they meant the world to him.  He would do anything for anyone.

Andy worked many years at Wisconsin Tissue Mills and retired from United Paper Corp.

He and Laurie spent over 40 years camping at Evergreen Campsites and in 2012 bought their retirement home in the park. He loved taking golf cart rides around the park looking for extra firewood, and enjoyed simple things like feeding the birds, especially the cardinals and hummingbirds, and putting corn out for the deer. He enjoyed attending dances and listening to country and polka music, sitting at the beach, and going fishing. He could often be found with an Old Style in hand, even when searching for the perfect Christmas tree, or grilling the Thanksgiving turkey on his Weber charcoal grill. 


Zippy's laughter was contagious.  Oh the stories he would tell. His jokes on/with people were hilarious. His kids were always fair game for some of his embarrassing shenanigans.  

Andy is survived by his four sisters, five brothers, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.

A celebration of Andy's life will take place Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Tanner's Grill and Bar, 730 S. Railroad St., Kimberly.

 And as Andy would say "see ya!"
