LORAINE GETLINGER

Loraine Getlinger, nee Hiebel, of Neenah, age 66, passed into the Lord's hands on Monday, June 13, 2016, after a short battle with cancer.  She was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, on September 16, 1949, daughter of the late Clarence and Florence (Tauchen) Hiebel.

Loraine attended St. Anthony's Catholic Grade School in Athens, WI and graduated from Holy Cross High School in Merrill, WI.  She married LaLester Getlinger on September 19, 1998 at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in Neenah.  Loraine loved her dog, Patches, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, biking and spending time with her loved ones.

Survivors include her husband, LaLester Getlinger; a son, Dave (Mel) Benson; a daughter, Bernie (Wayne) Benson McEvers; four grandchildren: Gabriel, Madalyn, Dakota and Skyla; four step-sons: Steve (Jill) Getlinger, Brian (Linda) Getlinger; Mike (Kim) Getlinger and Chad Getlinger; four sisters: her twin, Loretta (Jim) Kurowski, Dallas, TX, Margaret Apfelbeck, Dorchester, WI, Janet (Eugene) Meyer, Berlin, WI, Cathy (Joel) Lipsy, Raleigh, NC; step-grandchildren: Megan, Bradley, Joey, Brianne, Max, Amelia and Charlie Getlinger.  Loraine is further survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Arvin Apfelbeck.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak Street, Neenah, with The Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating.  The visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for Loraine.
