SUSANNE KUHR

Susie Kuhr passed away on June 29, 2016 with her family by her side after a lengthy illness. She was born July 6, 1946 in Neenah, WI to the late Howard and Margaret (Schultz) Kuhr.

Susie worked for 34 years at Banta Co. She enjoyed her family, friends, loved her road trips, and just enjoyed life. Her generosity will be remembered by her family, whom lovingly called her “Santa Sue,” and by any recipients of her ultimate gift, the gift of organ donation.

Susie is survived by her sister, Christine (Louie) Christensen; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; three sisters-in-law; aunts; cousins; and many friends. She will be sadly missed by her longtime friend Sandra Conger and her family. She was preceded in death by four brothers, and three sisters, and her nephew.

A memorial service for Susie will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Chapel at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton. A visitation will be held in the Chapel from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Inurnment will follow.

Susie's family would like to give thanks to her Doctors and staff of the 5th floor at ThedaCare Hospital, Neenah, ThedaCare at Home, and Hospice for the care and compassion they have given her throughout her illness.
