MARGARET JOHNSON

Marge (Margaret A.) Johnson, age 74, died Thursday, July 7, 2016. Marge was born in Two Rivers on February 10, 1942 to the late George and Elizabeth Pilon. She graduated from Washington High School and worked in the area until she married Dale Johnson on September 14, 1962. Marge had a passion for cooking and baking. No one left the Johnson home without a smile on their face and a box, bag or jar of some kind of homemade treat.   Her love for flowers led her to become a master gardener.   Together with Dale, they created the Roosevelt Street “flower house.” For many years she served her family, friends and neighbors with an endless supply of Avon products. Although she never set foot on a golf course, she thoroughly enjoyed watching Tiger Woods. Her most treasured gifts were her grandchildren whom she cherished and spoiled as much as she could.

She is survived by her husband of fifty one years, Dale, sons: Frank of Neenah, Jim “J.J.” Johnson and Toby of Kaukauna, and Alan of California. A brother and sister-in-law, George and Marie Pilon and a sister Winnie DeBauche, all of Two Rivers.   Her grandchildren: Josh and Cora of North Carolina, Tyler of Kimberly, Derek and Jade of Kaukauna, other relatives and many friends.

Rev. Mike Ignold will celebrate a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13,2016 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 439 Washington Avenue, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Margaret Mary Parish in her loving memory.
